Can the other person hear me?
Yes. Your voice picks up a warm, old-telephone tone, which is part of the charm. If you need studio-clean audio for work calls, this isn’t that, and we would rather tell you now than have you find out.
How long is the cord?
About 80 cm (31 inches) when stretched, and that is on purpose. The phone stays in your pocket or next to you, and the cord runs from there up to your ear. It is not made for leaving the phone on the counter and walking around the room.

Loud enough for a desk or a bed. There’s a + VOL - rocker on the edge right where your thumb lands. One buyer got it for a hard-of-hearing parent and said loud and clear. It’s not for a noisy street.
